About
Vega has been performing in the art of female impersonation for nearly a decade. Originally from Charleston, SC, she spent most of her time performing at Club Pantheon and Dudley's on Ann. While South Carolina may not be a big drag state, Vega was able to make a name for herself as a valued performer.
In early 2018 Vega, her husband Ryan, and their two dogs relocated to St Louis. While she had a name in Charleston, no one knew who Vega was in Missouri and it was several months before she began to perform. Once she made her St Louis debut she has been unstoppable and now performs all around the state of Missouri.
After attending the Miss Gay America pageant in October of 2018 she became so inspired and quickly jumped in to compete for next year's competition. Vega captured the title of Miss Gay Springfield in November of 2018 and then set her eyes on the State title. In March of 2019 Vega was fortunate enough to win the title of Miss Gay Missouri America, sweeping every scored category (Interview, Evening Gown, On-stage Question, Talent). She became the very first Miss Gay Springfield, in 45 years of pageantry, to bring home the title of Miss Gay Missouri America!
Vega is currently travelling and performing throughout the state and preparing for Miss Gay America in October of 2019.
She says that she is very fortunate to be surrounded with such great and supportive people and wants to give a special shout out to her husband Ryan Boyero, for without him, none of this would be possible.
